SciXchange Education Series

  • After teaching video production to high school females who study STEM, I was invited to make a docu-series on: The Medical Physics Laboratories at Toronto Metropolitan University, and an information series on the Total Solar Eclipse in 2024.

  • As the sole crew member on this project, I came up with the story, script, schedules, shot the footage, coordinated with actors and scientists, and edited the final videos.

  • It all began in a meeting. After defining what the client was looking for, I created a storyboard and script for their review. After, I scheduled days with scientists and actors to capture the footage to drive the story along. Finally, I edited the series together and sent it back to the client for approval.

  • The Medical Physics Lab Tour is showcased on SciXchange’s YouTube channel.

The docu-series on the Solar Eclipse lives on the same YouTube channel, but was also displayed at the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls, Ontario, during the Solar Eclipse.
