About

I work at the intersection of human-computer interaction, tangible interfaces, and data-driven systems. My research focuses on how people make sense of complex information through touch, gesture, and visual interaction, especially in high-stakes or knowledge-intensive domains. I enjoy moving between prototyping and study design: building interactive tools, testing them with users, and iterating based on how they actually think, feel, and work. Across projects, I’m driven by a core question: how can we design interfaces that not only function well, but also make technology more understandable, trustworthy, and humane?

In parallel with my research, I have a strong practice in media production spanning documentary, educational, and experimental projects. I’ve worked across the production pipeline, from concept to development and cinematography to editing and delivery, often collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and real-world partners. I’m particularly interested in stories that sit at the edge of science, culture, and lived experience, and I treat every project as a chance to translate complex ideas into engaging, emotionally grounded narratives. Whether in a film, interactive piece, or installation, I am always thinking about how the form, rhythm, and framing shape what the audience understands and remembers.
